Dear brothers and sisters in Islam,

Eastbourne Mosque would like to invite you to our first outdoor Eid in the Park event, celebrating Eid Ul-Adha on Wednesday 28^th June 2023 from 09:00am at Princess Park, Channel View Road, Eastbourne. Below is a map for finding Princess Park. The postcode is BN22 7LL for your satnav.

Things to consider

• Please arrive promptly in time for Salah at 9AM
• Please me mindful and respectful of the park, cleaning up any mess or litter you see.
• Please always be respectful of other users of the park.
• Car parking spaces may be limited since it’s the The 2023 Rothesay International Eastbourne tennis tournament, so please come early, if you can, walk in or car pool where possible.
  • Alternatively, you can use the Park & Display car park opposite Princess Park. Blue badge holders can park there for free.
• Should you require any assistance, please approach one of our volunteers wearing a fluorescent hi-vis vest whom will be happy to help.
• There are dedicated drop-off points for the elderly and people with disabilities that may require additional help.
• Toilets are available near The Perch Cafe

Dear brothers and sisters in Islam,

Eastbourne Mosque would like to announce that Insha’Allah the month of Dhul Hijiah 1444 will begin tomorrow. Arafah will be on Tuesday 27^th June 2023 and Eid ul-Adha on Wednesday 28^th June 2023.

It is highly recommended to do as many good deeds as possible during these blessed days and nights, including fasting, especially on the day of Arafah.

Further details about Eid prayers and community celebrations will be provided in the coming days.

May Allah accept all our good deeds and make this sacred period an opportunity for repentance, mutual forgiveness and soul purification.
