First Prayer at new mosque
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh brothers and sisters in Islam,
Thank you for coming to the Mosque for the guided tour of the new mosque on Sunday 10 December.It has been a pleasure to show everyone the various additional developments. We believe now we have a vastly improved and bigger mosque with all the facilities including janaza storage ablution and salah.
All this has been possible because we have a strong Muslim community in Eastbourne blessed by Allah. It is His will that Eastbourne has His House. We will have the modern education facilities to ensure our children and adults have a good Standard of Islamic Education.
However we’re still short of funds and the sooner we are able to have more funds, the sooner we will complete the Mosque and or the community to have access to the Mosque. We know the community has donated a lot of money and I can assure you that every penny has been used to its maximum effect and value. We urge you to make an effort to donate whatever you can and let’s complete our mosque comprehensively.
Finally I wish to share with you that the first Azaan was called on Sunday at Zuhr time, Imam Abdel Rahim led the first prayer and then gave a beautiful reminder that the mosque is here and our thoughts should also focus on the next generation. It was a fantastic feeling praying in the new mosque.
May Allah help us raise the remaining funds quickly so that we can move into the new mosque soon.

Eid al-Adha 2017 Celebrations
Eid al-Adha 2017 Celebrations

Dear brothers and sisters in Islam,
We are happy to announce that we shall be celebrating Eid Al-Adha on Friday the 1st September 2016 InshaAllah followed by Jumah prayers at 1:15.
Prayer will start at 8am at the Willingdon Trees Community Center, so arrive early!

Dear brothers and sisters in Islam,
Eastbourne Mosque would like to announce it will be Eid ul-Adha on Friday 1st September 2017.
Thursday 31st August will be the day of Arafah.
The 1st of the Islamic calendar month of Dhul Hijjah starts tomorrow.
More details will be published shortly regarding Eid ul-Adha celebrations, so watch this space!

We are happy to announce that we shall be celebrate Eid Ul-Fitr either on Sunday the 25th June InshaAllah.
Eid prayers start at 08:30am, and Eid party after Salaat.
May Allah accept all our good deeds and forgive our shortcomings during the Holy Month.
Please remember Zakatul-Fitr of £5 to be given before prayer.

Ramadan 2017
Assalaamualaikum warahmatullahAfter looking at various sources we have the pleasure to announce that InshaAllah the day after tomorrow, Saturday 27th June 2017 is the 1st Ramadan.
May Allah bless us all and forgive our sins during this Holy month by enabling us to respect Ramadan and make the most out of it and may Allah accept all our good deeds.
InshaAllah we will be praying Isha followed by Tarawih from tomorrow at 10.45 pm in Hampden Park as previously announced.

BN22 9PPSome important notes for Tarawih hall, so please help us by following the rules.
There will be someone standing outside the church to help and guide people who need parking information and help.
1- Please ensure you respect the neighborhood by not making noise while coming and going.
2- Please avoid parking inside the church car park as spaces are limited and it is strictly forbidden to park on the grass. There is plenty of parking available in the Hampden Park area very close to the church. Please park in the roads opposite or in the Hampden Park car park where there is plenty space and enjoy the short walk.
3- Only disabled cars allowed inside the church area.
4- Please share your car by bring brother and sisters.
5- Alhamdulillah prayer facility has been arranged for the sisters. Sisters area is at the back of the hall. Please follow the signs inside the church hall.
6- Please bring your prayer matts.
7- Please share your car by bring brother and sisters.
8- Please do not bring any food into the church hall.
9- Drinking water will be available at the church hall.
